MTV VMAs 2022 | Fashion Looks From Red Carpet

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards has a perfect ending on Sunday, August 28th, featuring superstars like Lizzo and Blackpink walking the red carpet for the major event.

In contrast to Hollywood’s award shows, the VMAs frequently feature attendees having a good time and showcasing their individuality by favouring informal attire like playful, sexy, or creative clothing over traditional attire like suits and ball gowns.

The annual event has produced a number of notable looks over the years, including Lady Gaga’s meat dress, Miley Cyrus’s sensual bear leotard, several matching Destiny’s Child looks, Avril Lavigne’s camouflage cargo pants, Pamela Anderson’s sequin pants, and Rihanna’s trench-coat ballgown.

The theme of the 2022 VMAs is Floral Prints. With this theme, Dove Cameron and Sabrina Carpenter both wore flower crowns during the pre-show, albeit Carpenter’s style was more colourful and Cameron’s was a little moodier. Blackpink also began to bloom; Jennie’s dark dress featured a floral skirt, while the rest of the group opted for all-black attire to keep things stylish.

Without further ado, let us take a look back at the red carpet fashion looks.
